About Us

About the Leander High School Theatre DepartmentThroughout its history, Leander Theatre has consisted of highly accomplished and qualified directors, State advancing OAP's, TETA Design Champions, State UIL Design Champions, Fringe Performers in Ediburgh Scotland, and Thespian National Qualifiers, just to name a few.  The department produces a minimum of three main stage shows each year including a dessert theatre, musical, and competition OAP.

2012 OAP District Results!

Congratulations to the cast and crew of "Is He Dead?" for advancing from the UIL OAP district-level competition to Area!

Winning individual awards were:

Emily Steele - Outstanding Technician

Ian Blake - Honorable Mention All Star Cast
Hawley Stames - Honorable Mention All Star Cast

Sarah Hall - All Star Cast
Drake Preis - All Star Cast
Gavin Barron - All Star Cast

The Area-level competition will be held on April 11 at Rouse High School.  Performances begin at 1:00PM, with Leander going at approximately 3:30PM.

Leander is proud to be hosting District competition here in the Performing Arts Center on April 3rd starting at 5 pm with our production. The order of the shows are as follows:
 
1. Leander High School
2. McNeil High School
3. Pflugerville High School
4. Georgetown High School
